LAMBDA PHI FRATERNITY
Purdue's Alpha Beta Chapter of DLP creates a place in the Greek system nurturing
of all people. Designed to help men of all sexual orientations, in or out of
the closet, DLP enhances life among gay, bi, and progressive men by providing
dignified and purposeful social, service, and recreational activities.

EMPLOYEES OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
GLBTI Employees of Purdue University is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual,
and transgender employees that strives to enhance the personal well-being and
professional environment of fellow GLBTI employees of the University. They
currently meet bi-weekly for lunch in the Purdue Memorial Union.
INTERSEX
SOCIETY OF NORTH AMERICA (ISNA)
The Intersex Society of North America (ISNA) is devoted to systemic change
to end shame, secrecy, and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with
an anatomy that someone decided is not standard for male or female. We urge
physicians to use a model of care that is patient-centered, rather than concealment-centered.
P-FLAG: PARENTS AND FRIENDS OF LESBIANS
AND GAYS
This is an international organization that seeks to provide support and education
to parents, family, and friends who have loved ones who are gay, lesbian, or
bisexual. Lafayette meetings are the 4th Thursday of every month.

PURDUE ALLY ASSOCIATION
Ally is an organization of gay, lesbian, bi, and straight individuals who seek
through educational and advocacy efforts to affirm the lives and experiences
of people who are gay, lesbian, bi, or transgendered.

Queer Advocacy Alliance is a student organization advocating equality, raising

PURDUE'S COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL
SERVICES
Counseling And Psychological Services (CAPS) offers a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual,
and Transgender support group. This ongoing, weekly support group for students
who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered will provide a safe environment
for individuals who want to share their many experiences, struggles, and victories
in being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered.

QUEER RESOURCE NETWORK
Gay/lesbian/bisexual student group. This group meets weekly and engages in
social, political, and educational activities. Membership is open to all
students and meetings are regularly scheduled.

RURAL
CENTER FOR AIDS/STD PREVENTION
The Rural Center for AIDS/STD Prevention a joint
center with IU, Purdue and Texas A&M has prevention
resources available free of charge. The major focus
of the Rural Center for AIDS/STD Prevention (RCAP)
is the promotion of HIV/STD prevention in rural America,
with the goal of reducing HIV/STD incidence. The RCAP
develops and evaluates educational materials and approaches,
examines the behavioral and social barriers to HIV/STD
prevention which can be applied to revention programming
and provides prevention resources to professionals
and the public.

TRANSGENDERED NETWORK INTERNATIONAL,
INDIANA
Created to help support those dealing with issues of Transgenderism, this group
holds to the standards set forth by TGNI in which they intend to help support
all people dealing in any way with Transgendered issues. "Strict Confidentiality
maintained at all times!" Cross-dressers, Transsexuals, Male to Female and
Female to Male, Family Members, Friends, Helping Professionals, and all interested
people who desire a better understanding of the TG Lifestyle are welcome to
attend.

The UU Church of Lafayette welcomes and accepts people who are gay, lesbian,
bisexual, or transgendered. It strives to be a safe and affirming environment
for those who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered, and ensure that
all areas of congregational life are open and inclusive. The church commits
to work for the rights and dignity of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered
people in the larger community.
