5. As a participant or volunteer of Pride Lafayette, what would be expected of me?
We understand that everyone has various personal commitments and comfort levels. We hope that you will be involved as much as you are willing and able. Those involved with Pride Lafayette are simply expected to have fun and take advantage of all that our organization has to offer. In turn, your voluntary contributions of time and monetary donations will always be appreciated.

As a volunteer organization, Pride Lafayette does not charge a membership fee. However, we gladly accept your donation. See our donation page for more information.

7. I am not politically minded or vocal about my sexuality/gender identity. If I become involved, will I have to be public about it?
Pride Lafayette is not a political action organization. Citizens for Civil Rights already fills that role for the GLBTI community and other area minority groups by working to protect our civil rights. Pride Lafayette has a more internal focus. We work within the GLBTI community to effect change in ourselves and improve our quality of life as citizens of the Greater Lafayette community. When you become invovled with Pride Lafayette you will find a place for yourself, whether you choose to be public or private about your sexuality or gender identity.
